The Definitive Hands-Free Unlocking Experience

Powered by Ultra-Wideband (UWB), the Smart Lock U400 unlocks as you approach with your iPhone or Apple Watch — a hands-free, privacy-preserving entry experience with no codes and no biometric checks. As an Aliro enabled lock, UWB unlocking will extend to more devices across different ecosystems.

Hands Full

Effortlessly walk right in without setting down your belongings, as the door automatically unlocks upon your approach with an authorized device.

Raining Heavily

Avoid the struggle of searching for keys or operating a touchscreen in a downpour with the UWB lock's hands-free, proximity-based unlocking.

Wearing Gloves

No longer will you need to fumble with your gloves to use keys or keypads, the U400 unlocks on approach.

Unlocks Only When It Should

Based on range and angle measurements, UWB detects your exact position and also understands your unlock intention. It unlocks precisely when you're ready to enter and avoids any accidental or delayed openings.

Tap to Unlock with Home Key in Apple Wallet

Simply add the Apple home key to your Wallet and unlock your door with your iPhone or Apple Watch—even when the devices are powered off. You can also easily share the home key with family members or provide guest codes to visitors, ensuring both security and convenience.

Fingerprint Unlocking in 0.3 Seconds

The Smart Lock U400 also features a built-in ergonomic fingerprint reader, which can securely store up to 50 fingerprints for quick touch-to-open access. The lock offers a highly accurate recognition rate of up to 98.6%.

Matter over Thread Support

Powered by Matter over Thread, the Smart Lock U400 works by design with Apple Home, Home Assistant, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and other ecosystems, ensuring stable and reliable performance.

Samsung Wallet will be supported on the U400 in Q1 2026, allowing users to use a compatible Samsung device as a digital key.

*To use the device with a particular Matter ecosystem, a Thread-enabled Matter Controller of this ecosystem is required.

BHMA Certified

The U400 lock is proven to meet the industry standard for reliable residential security, ensuring durability and peace of mind.

IP65 Weatherproof (Outer Panel)

Engineered to withstand dust, splashes, and heavy rain, U400 delivers reliable performance even in demanding outdoor environments.

Rekeyable Design

This lock can be rekeyed, allowing you to change the physical key without replacing the entire lock cylinder.
