House was built 1960s wiring in light switches have no neutral wires, this smart light switch works great for this set up.

With this single switch, I can control 6 devices in my Home Assistant smart home system. Personally, I love that they are buttons and not typical switches. It makes activating them much easier when you are just passing by. I have two of these and several of the single button ones that Aqara makes. They all work great and will be getting more in the future to complete the home update. The one feature that I wish these had was functionality of being a "router" device vs "end" device. I think that is more of an issue with my old 1930's house wiring (no neutral) than the device though.Cheers

This review is for Aqara Smart Light Switch (with Neutral, Single Rocker). This is not my first Aqara device, but my first switch and so far, I like this switch as much as the rest of Aqara devices I own. The switch was very easy to install and works as expected. Few things to note: 1. If you are using a remodeling type electrical box that sits on top of the sheetrock, expect to have about 1mm (1/16” inch) gap between the wall plate and the wall. No big deal and barely noticeable. 2. The blue led indicator is on when the light is on and vice versa. This a complete opposite of all my other switches and makes it more difficult to see in the dark. 3. The temperature sensor is completely useless, it is off by almost 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Other than those few issues I really like the switch. It can monitor the power usage/consumption which is a big plus and works perfectly with home assistant connected via ConBee II Zigbee Gateway. Time will tell how it holds up in the long run.

Works like a charm, this model doesn’t have a neutral, my house is older and it doesn’t have a neutral wire. Works perfectly.

If you have an older home without a neutral wire in the switch box, this is a good budget solution. There are other manufacturers with more premium quality and features, but at 3 times the cost. The Aqara switches have a bit of a cheaper feel to them, but I have not had any of them fail over the last few years.

MY MIND WAS SOO SET IN GETTING SMART BULBS BUT I HAVE SOOOOOO MANY LIGHTS I DIDNT WANT TO SPEND ALL THAT MONEY THEN WATCHED THIS VIDEO ON YOUTUBE AND HE WAS SPEAKING ON SMART SWITCHES AND EVER SINCE THEN THESE LIGHTS ARE THE BEST!!!! MUCH CHEAPER THAN BUYING SEPERATE BULBS OMGOSH SOOO GLAD I GOT THIS!!!
